original 1950's "one star" perfecto leather motorcycle jacket made by the schott company.
this jacket has the early large black and blue label (label is frayed see picture) this style of jacket was made famous by marlon brando in the cult 1950's motorcycle gang movie "the wild one" !
jacket color = black
tag size = 42"inch chest
full measured size as follows ........... armpit to armpit across the front is 21"inches wide ...........sleeve length is 23"inches long from shoulder seam to edge of cuff ...... shoulder to shoulder across the back is 18"inches wide .................. jacket length is 24"inches long measurement taken from base of back collar down the back to bottom edge of the jacket.
condition = structually soun ready to wear - jacket hasa killer worn in pattina , something that modern designers struggle to copy !
original front silver talon zipper in full working order, all slash pocket zippers in full working order, front belt in perfect shape , the cuff zippers are missing some teeth so only zip down half the way , there is a little fraying of the leather around the cuff area (see pic), inside lining is in strong shape for its age (no major rips or tears) , lining mayhave been resewn around the armpit area at some point in time. the leather on the collar fold is worn in (but not weak in anyway) just adds to the vintage flavor of the jacket. one of the stars is missing from one of the shoulder epperlets, and theleather loop for hanging up the jacket in the neck line is torn.the jacket has been well looked after, has been worn alot, but is still a very nice example of a rare vintage motorcycle jacket in full original shape.
