This is a World War I poster designed to help in the relief effort and to involve the participation of the folks at home. The image is by Townsend and produced by the U.S. Food Administration. Food was scarce as battles raged throughout Europe. It is estimated that 60 million combatants and civilians lost their lives.
The size is 20 x 30 inches and it is in good condition, rolled, never folded, and has several tears on the margin. It could be linen backed, in house by Poster Plus, for $35. The poster came from the collection of the now defunct Harding Military Museum.
