Vintage Canvas Newspaper Carrier Bag

Offered here is a vintage PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE canvas paper boy carrier bag. Made of sturdy canvas with yellow letters outlined in black. On BOTH sides the tote reads; PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE ONE OF AMERICA'S GREAT NEWSPAPERS.

This carrier bag is in vintage condition and displays some paper boy delivery dirt to prove it. The canvas is heavy with some triple stitch seams. There is some wear on the bottom and held up to the light you will see a small hole there.

Measures approximately 24" across the top, 13 1/2" high (excluding handle) and almost 9" wide across the bottom. Handle approximately 35" long and is attached with four metal grommet type fasteners on each side.

These bags are hard to find and capture a simpler time when our young neighbors woke up at 5AM to earn some pay.

A wonderful addition to any newspaper, advertising, Post Gazette or Pittsburgh area collection.

SHIPPING: Most items are shipped the first business day after payment is received. Depending on the situation, we sometimes ship Fed Ex in lieu of USPS Parcel Post.
