See the images. I recently acquired a nice collection of World War I unit histories that I'll be listing on the week. This sale is for a book titled "STORY OF THE SECOND FIELD SIGNAL BATTALION FIRST DIVISION". Controvich # 5505 and Dornbusch # *1279.
Printed by J. P. Bachem, Cologne, Germany, 1919. Size 7 1/4" x 9 1/4", 83 pages. A scarce history of the unit, which fought with the 1st Infantry Division and received six battle credits during the war. Contents include dedication, table of contents, and a detailed narrative of the unit's experiences during the war from organization and training to the end of the war.
Condition VG with soiled cover, light corner wear to cover, inside generally very clean with some faint age toning, softly bumped corners, binding tight and holding well.
