Here is a very unusual WW1 bronze hessian soldier trench art letter opener. It is 9 "1/4 long and 7/8" at its widest by the hessian's arms. It is English hallmarked, which dates it to 1914. Interesting buckle on the back is a US buckle, but the uniform looks like a Grenadier soldier? the details on both side are excellent, very fine for such a small figure,It has no damage, just a lot of age to it.
