Very good condition Argentine Model 1909 Mauser bayonet that is complete with matching numbered scabbard and correct original leather frog. Blade has a sharp clear Argentine crest, this early piece was built under contract in Germany and is manufacturer marked to WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM on the blade. Blade has great looking original bright metal finish and was never sharpened, shows some tiny dings on both sides. Remaining metal finish is brown and gray, lock button functions fine. Wood grips have original finish and a god tight fit. Scabbard has brown and gray metal finish with a few dings near the tip. Leather frog shows some normal wear, leather is soft and supple, stitching and rivets are nice and tight. Complete with scabbard stud strap and belt loops with buckles. Good example of this early Argentine Mauser bayonet with matching numbered scabbard and original frog.
