This sale is for an original menu from De Lazon's Restaurant which was located at 131 N. Dearborn St and also 565 Diversey Parkway in Chicago. The date is pre-printed on the inside of the menu - Thursday, July 29, 1943. The cover has a patriotic / military theme with "Buy War Stamps and Bonds". The menu measures 8-3/4" x 11-3/4"and is on thin card stock. Some sample prices: American Champagne 65 cents, Half Spring Chicken dinner $1.50, Apricot Pie 15 cents, etc. The menu is in good condition - it has a horizontal crease from being folded in half - there is light dirt/light toning along the edges of the cover - there are a few light stains on the back cover. A NICE PIECE OF MEMORABILIA FROM DE LAZON'S! Postage is $4.25. Check out my other sales for several other restaurant menus from the Chicago area from the 1930s-1960s. I just picked up a small collection of menus and will have them all by tonight. Combine sale wins to save on postage.
